Gauhati University welcomes international students for admission into its different courses and programs. Foreign students from Iran, Ethiopia, Egypt, Sri Lanka, and South Asia have been admitted into several programs.

We have standing collaborations with many international institutes which include Blizard Institute (UK), University of Greenwich, Kent (UK), University of West of Scotland (UK), Uppasala University (Sweden), Stefan Meyer Institute, Vienna (Austria), Kunming Institute of Botany, Kunming (China), Kagawa University (Japan), University Of Naples (Italy), and National University of Laos (Laos).
